Baern is a cafe, bakery and events space based at the Bowhouse in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife.
With sustainability and seasonality at its core - Baern offers a casual brunch and lunch menu, seasonal suppers, a counter full of savoury and sweet bakes, and sourdough bread.
The menu is the final link in the Bowhouse food chain. Bringing together vegetables from East Neuk Market Garden, meat from Butchery at Bowhouse, and flour from Scotland the Bread. Other ingredients are foraged from the surrounding land and coast.
Drinks are the best of the East Neuk with beer from Futtle, Cider from Aeble and coffee from Modern Standard.
Wines are biodynamic, organic and sourced from small scale producers.
House soda is made with foraged ingredients and waste products from the kitchen.
